Resumen
Este trabajo permite saber si el reordenamiento de la oferta educativa tiene un efecto sobre los niveles de logro del aprendizaje y la descomposición de la matrícula. La metodología explora la diversidad de la estructura del sector educativo relacionada con una unidad geográfica y la descomposición de la matrícula. Para la caracterización se utiliza el número de estudiantes y se localizan en una unidad geográfica para encontrar las distancias y hacer agrupaciones geográficas que mantienen la continuidad territorial. Finalmente, se calcula el índice de concentración de cada unidad regional, lo que nos permite saber qué provincias son las más y menos similares a la media nacional y de esto depende el efecto del reordenamiento de la oferta educativa sobre las otras variables. La fuente de datos fueron los registros administrativos del Ministerio de Educación (Mineduc) y el Instituto Nacional de Evaluación Educativa (Ineval).

Abstract
This work allows to know if the rearrangement of the educational offer has an effect on the levels of learning achievement and the decomposition of the enrollment. The methodology explores the diversity of the structure of the education sector related to a geographical unit and the decomposition of the enrollment. For the characterization the number of students is used and they are located in a geographical unit to find the distances and to make geographic groupings that maintain territorial continuity. Finally, the concentration index for each regional unit is calculated, which allows us to know which provinces are the most and least similar to the national average and on this depends the effect of the rearrangement of the educational offer on the other variables. The data source are the administrative records of the Ministry of Education (Mineduc) and the National Institute of Educational Evaluation (Ineval).
